Orca Prayer Team
It is a great privilege for Finish The Mission to have a vital prayer team who have advanced Christ’s salvation into some of the darkest, most difficult regions of the world. Our Orca Prayer Team takes intercession a step further.
Orcas are fearless ocean creatures who stand against the most fearsome predators. Those who have experienced the amazing mercy of God through Jesus Christ and who are growing to personally know our awesome God become fearless like the orca.
To join the Orca Prayer Team, we ask that you commit to pray and fast one day each month over the next year (May 2026-April 2027). The purpose of fasting with prayer expresses our hunger for God and his glory to fill the earth above our physical needs and earthly routines.
If you would like to join the Orca Prayer Team, double click the QR code which will take you to a signup sheet. Write your name in the slot to select a day to pray and fast each month. Then mark your designated day to pray and fast on your personal calendar. If you are only able to fast a portion of the day or fast from certain foods for medical reasons, this is fine. Fasting intends to communicate to God your desire for him and sets aside our ordinary, earthly activities, like eating, to focus upon heavenly matters.
